Individual Coaching

I provide online individual coaching for adults age 18 and older in the United States and internationally. I am a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach and an IFS Level 1-trained practitioner. My work may include trauma education, reflection, goal development, and consent-based parts work in a peer-based, collaborative relationship.

Coaching can feel therapeutic, but it is not psychotherapy, counseling, diagnosis, medical care, substance-use treatment, or crisis care. It is not a substitute for services from licensed medical or mental-health professionals when those services are needed.

Fees and Payment

Individual sessions are 90 minutes. Standard and sliding-scale fees range from $75 to $125 per session and are agreed upon in writing. A limited scholarship rate and a separately agreed international rate may be available. Invoices are generally sent at least 24 hours before the appointment, and payment is due immediately after the session concludes.

Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Show

  • With at least 24 hours’ notice, you may reschedule or request a refund of any payment already made.
  • Your first cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice is waived once during the coaching relationship. This allowance does not automatically reset.
  • After that waiver has been used, cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged at the full session fee. I may waive the fee for a genuine emergency at my discretion.
  • If you do not attend or contact me within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time, the appointment is treated as a no-show and charged in full.
  • If you arrive late, we will use the remaining appointment time and the session will still end as scheduled.
  • If I need to cancel, you may reschedule or receive a refund of any payment already made.

Confidentiality and Privacy

I treat what you share as confidential and keep client records access-limited. Coaching communications generally do not carry the legal privilege that may apply in psychotherapy, medicine, or law. I may disclose information when there is an imminent or serious risk of harm to you or another person or when disclosure is required by a valid subpoena or court order. Consistent with IAOTRC standards and applicable reporting law, I will report current abuse of a child, older adult, or dependent or disabled person to the appropriate agency. I may also discuss de-identified information in professional supervision. I do not record sessions.

Online scheduling, email, electronic signatures, payment services, and Google Meet involve unavoidable technology and privacy risks. Although reasonable safeguards are used, no digital platform can be guaranteed completely secure.

Between-Session Communication

You are welcome to email brief check-ins or reflections. I will read them before our next session, but I may not respond to every message. Coaching takes place during scheduled appointments, and email is not monitored as a crisis or emergency service.

Crisis and Escalated Care

I do not provide crisis or emergency response. If your needs or safety concerns exceed the scope of coaching, I may require additional support from an appropriately qualified professional or pause coaching until adequate support is established. Coaching may continue alongside that care when appropriate.

  • United States: call or text 988, or use the 988 Lifeline chat at 988lifeline.org.
  • Crisis Text Line: text HOME to 741741 in the United States.
  • Sexual assault support: call RAINN at 800-656-HOPE (4673), text HOPE to 64673, or use the online chat at rainn.org/hotline.
  • Outside the United States: use the crisis or emergency resources available in your location.

Participation, Conduct, and Ending Coaching

You remain responsible for your choices, actions, and implementation between sessions. Neither specific outcomes nor results are guaranteed. Either of us may end coaching verbally or in writing; whenever reasonably possible, we will discuss the ending in a session. I may pause or end services for repeated nonpayment or no-shows, repeated attendance while impaired, needs beyond my scope or competence, threatening, discriminatory, or seriously disruptive conduct, or when the relationship is no longer beneficial. An optional closing session and appropriate referral resources may be offered.

Materials and Intellectual Property

Resources I create and provide are for your personal use only. They may not be copied, distributed, sold, or used commercially without my prior written permission.

Results and Liability

Testimonials describe individual experiences and do not promise that another client will achieve the same result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kristina Krauss makes no guarantee of a particular personal, professional, relational, or educational outcome from coaching.

Grievance Procedure

I am required to let you know that I am a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach credentialed by The International Association of Trauma Recovery Coaching. As a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach I am bound to uphold the Association’s Code of Ethics.

If at any time you feel I have failed to abide by the Association’s Code of Ethics or wronged you in another way you are welcome to contact our Professional Standards Committee at Grievance@iaotrc.com. You will be sent a grievance form to complete and submit. All reports and grievance actions are held confidential by the Professional Standard’s Committee.
